One of the main economic challenges countries like The Netherlands face is the lack of talent in key areas such as IT or Engineering. It's estimated that in the next 5 years in The Netherlands alone around 80.000 extra employees are needed to keep up with current projected needs.
It's also clear that we are not able to (re-)educate or (re-) deploy enough talent in time. This crucial talent has to come from abroad. Currently we don't have enough insights into where to find this much needed talent or even how to convince them to come here and stay./p>
